This is a picture from the storm that passed through Tulia yesterday. I was getting water on my camera lenses taking this picture.

Will's 3rd bday party

Stay away from the cake and no one gets hurt!!!! This is Will's 3rd birthday party. He had a bucking horse party!!!

Playing B ball

Brett is so ready to be able to play basketball. He gets to do the Naz stars next year. It teaches dribbling, passing and general ball handling.

What we do

I know people driving by are probably saying "those people in Nazareth start them out young." We are waiting for Steve to get us a big basketball goal.

We are on our way to state

The boys basketball team made it to the state tournament. We are so proud of them. Nicky-our distant cousin is making his 3rd trip to Austin in 4 years. GO SWIFTS!!!!!

Brett roping fence posts

Brett was trying to rope the fence posts as Papa checked the fence. WE were waiting to see what would happen if he caught one. Would he let go or hold on? He got one caught but it came off before he could pull the rope tight.

Will just had to have his toenails painted

Will wanted his toenails painted so we did it. He sat so still and let me paint away. Brett was totally disgusted that his brother had his toenails painted.

Will

Will loved the mud hole as much as his brother. One of our friends told Will there was enough dirt to grow corn in his ears. He thought that was too funny!!!!

Ft. Worth

We decided late Thursday evening to go with Steve to Ft. Worth for the weekend. The boys loved roping the dummy. Brett had the pulling part down and did manage to get 1 horn roped.

Sledding

The boys and dogs sledding on the ice. Brett knew there was enough to sled so off he went. After a few runs down he would have to find a new patch to sled down bc he had melted the first patch. Notice he had the dog HELPING him.

Will fell in love

Will fell in love with the goats. He was waving hi to them when I snapped this picture. I'm like to bad you like them bc we are not showing them. He believes a stock show is nothing more than one huge playground for him and all his friends.

Brett and the pig

The County agent(DAD) congratulating Brett on a job well done. The judge told Brett that he drove the pig well. I guess all that walking before the show paid off. We got 4th out of 6 so we were proud. Brett asked what happened after the pig got sold. WE said oh this one didn't sell and is going back to the farm which is true but we didn't tell him that it will be pork chops before it is over.

Favorite Christmas Memories and presents

The Horses

Boyd and Steve made the boys horses for Christmas. They definitely were a hit. Brett rides his while he plays video games.

Christmas morning

One of Brett's favorite gifts was the nerf gun he got in his stocking. Just ask Brett if they hurt when they hit. We were playing with them and I was shooting at the back of Brett's head and he turned around. I got him right below the eye. We learned a valuable lesson that day.
